Travel Trip Photo: Mountain scene and Fall color seen on drive over Kebler Pass from Paonia to Crested Butte, Colorado

Ellen and Doug, with friends Tim and Beth, embarked in September 2009 on a Colorado Fall Travel and Photography Tour, on a loop through a portion of western Colorado.

Website photos, with captions, and slideshows (with music):
Redstone and Marble: After leaving Denver and driving west over the Continental Divide, they drove through the Crystal Valley, exploring the Redstone and Marble areas;
Paonia and Kebler Pass to Crested Butte: From Marble, they drove over McClure Pass and down into Paonia. After exploring the town and visiting several local wineries in the areas, they traveled up over Kebler Pass. They stopped near the top and took a short hike amid the golden Aspens, before descending into the mountain resort town of Crested Butte. After spending the night, they returned to Denver, passing Taylor Reservoir on their way up to Cottowood Pass and back over the Continental Divide to the eastern slope.
