From the summit of South Boulder Peak, return down the northeast ridge to the saddle between So Boulder and Bear Pk. |

| Then take the trail (not offically listed) up the southwest ridge of Bear approximately .4 miles, to where it connects with the West Ridge Trail. From here it is 100 yards, or so, up to the summit of Bear Peak (elevation 8,461 feet) |
