Doug and Ellen took a trip to the Colorado Four Corners area - visiting Ancient Pueblo (Anasazi) sites at Mesa Verde National Park,Hovenweep National Monument and Ute Mountain Tribal Park with friends from the Boulder County Volunteer Naturalists in September 2009. We don't have a full trip report, but you can view photos of the trip at Doug's photo site at York Photos. You will have to get an account - your email address and a personal password, but there is no obligation to buy anything and York won't hassle or spam you.

You can also view Doug's slide show/videos of the trip on YouTube: Mesa Verde - Cliff Palace, Balcony House, Long House and Weatherill Mesa; Ute Mountain Tribal Park; Hovenweep - Little Ruins Canyon; and last, but not least, a very cool bull snake we encountered at the Ute Mountain Tribal Park.
