June 20-23, 2003 We left the Gatlinburg area mid-morning and headed to North Carolina to visit Doug’s client and friend, Charles McCarty and wife, Cathi, who had just moved there in April. The skies were clear and the sun was shining! We arrived in Mooresville in mid-afternoon and proceeded to spend the weekend with the McCarty’s, and Cathi’s brother Kevin and fiancée, Sherri, eating, drinking, boating, swimming and most of all, laughing. While there was much to see in this area, we opted for staying on Lake Norman and just being. A wonderful weekend filled with lasting memories.
